Winter maintenance of streets and other public areas

Summary

Ylivieska is procuring winter maintenance of streets, pedestrian and cycle routes, other public areas and municipal properties for winter 2026–2027, with possible options for winters 2027–2028 and 2028–2029. The work includes snow plowing, removal of snow where required, anti-slip treatment and the use of the specified plowing or grading equipment for each area. The work is divided into seven area lots, with snow transport offered as a separate lot. Bids may cover one or more lots, but a bid for an area must include both snow plowing and anti-slip treatment; partial bids within an area are not permitted. Bidders must provide the machinery and spreaders specified for each area they bid for. The contractor for Area 10 will also act as the lead winter maintenance contractor.
