Summary

The contract covers cleaning the buildings, rooms and equipment of Institut Forat del Vent, as well as the school’s sports courts and yards in Cerdanyola del Vallès. The areas comprise 4,850 m² of interior space and 10,500 m² of sports courts and yards. The procurement is not divided into lots, and the service must be delivered without disrupting the school’s normal activities. The contract runs from 1 December 2026 to 30 November 2027, with an option to extend it for one additional year. The estimated annual workload is 3,720 hours; the maximum rate is €19.89 per cleaning hour excluding VAT, and the annual budget is €73,990.80 excluding VAT. Payment is made in 11 monthly instalments based on hours actually performed. No service is provided in July or August, and the school’s Christmas and Easter holidays and any chosen closure days must also be taken into account. From September to June, the planned staffing is two cleaners from 13:00 to 21:00 and one cleaner from 15:00 to 19:00. The work includes cleaning classrooms, toilets, offices, laboratories, workshops, corridors, stairs, the gymnasium, sports courts and yards. The technical specification sets daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual tasks. Additional deep cleaning is required after events such as repairs, breakdowns or water leaks, and washroom supplies must be replenished. The contractor supplies the equipment, machinery, protective equipment, cleaning and hygiene products, toilet paper, hand towels and soap. Environmentally preferable products must be used, and specific requirements apply to recycling and chemical safety. Bidders must provide evidence of the required turnover and similar-service experience, a European Single Procurement Document, a technical submission with product information and evidence of environmental compliance, and a separate price offer. The technical proposal is weighted at 30% and price at 70%. The successful bidder must provide a final guarantee equal to 5% of the awarded price and maintain liability insurance of at least €600,000 per claim and per year.
