Server and data-storage systems maintenance service

Summary

The tender covers preventive and corrective technical maintenance of Mercamadrid’s servers and data-storage systems, to ensure their availability and reliable operation. The service includes labour, travel, spare parts and repair work, as well as preventive checks, firmware and microcode updates, liaison with manufacturers, spare-parts and replacement-equipment management, and technical support. The equipment is from several manufacturers, including HP, Dell and Supermicro; critical systems require 24/7 support. The contract runs for three years from November 2026, with extensions totalling up to two additional years (five years maximum). The estimated value is €27,014.94 excluding VAT, or €32,688.08 including VAT. Bids must be submitted electronically by 8:00 a.m. on 19 October 2026. Evaluation awards up to 65 points for price, 25 for the technical proposal, and up to 5 points each for staff ITIL certifications and offered reductions to incident-resolution deadlines. Bidders must submit the required responsible declarations and demonstrate financial and technical capacity. Among other requirements, the successful bidder must substantiate annual turnover of at least €79,694.07 in the contract’s field, comparable service experience worth at least €37,190.57, and ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO 20000-1 or equivalent certifications. At least three support technicians with the specified qualifications and at least three years of relevant experience must be assigned to the contract. The successful bidder must also ensure manufacturer support and spare-parts availability, meet the medium-category requirements of Spain’s National Security Scheme, and hold third-party liability insurance of at least €1,200,000 per claim. The definitive guarantee is 5% of the offered price excluding VAT.
