Civil liability insurance service for TURESPAÑA senior officials

Summary

The procurement is for civil and accounting liability insurance for TURESPAÑA’s senior officials and certain officials who sign accounting documents. Cover includes, among other matters, claims brought by public authorities and accounting-liability investigations, as well as defence costs, reputation-restoration costs, bail bonds and expenses related to lost documents. The overall indemnity limit is €3,000,000; sub-limits are €2,000,000 for liability to public authorities, €250,000 for reputation restoration, €3,000,000 for defence costs, €1,000,000 for bail bonds and €300,000 for lost documents. There is no deductible. The policy covers 36 insured persons. The contract starts on 1 December 2026, or on the contract execution date if later, runs for one year and may be extended for one further year. The maximum tender price is €19,440, including insurance premium tax and other applicable taxes; VAT is exempt. Offers are evaluated on price for 70 points and five increases to insurance limits for a total of 30 points. The bidder must be duly authorised to operate as an insurer and meet the turnover and comparable-experience requirements. The initial offer must include the required declarations and forms. It must be submitted electronically, signed, and in Spanish.
