Collection of abandoned or lost dogs in the municipalities of Valladolid province (2026–2028)
Summary
The procurement is for the on-call capture and collection of abandoned or lost dogs in municipalities in the province of Valladolid, excluding the city of Valladolid. The work includes responding to reports from municipalities, law-enforcement authorities or private individuals; capturing dogs where necessary; reading microchips; transporting the animals; and handing them over to the designated custody facility or, where appropriate, a veterinary centre. The service must operate 24 hours a day, every day of the year, for both routine and urgent cases, using duly authorised vehicles for transport. The initial contract term is two years, with annual extensions possible up to a maximum total duration of four years. The budget for the initial 24 months is €37,000 including VAT. Bidders must demonstrate the required financial and technical capacity and provide the necessary vehicle and capture equipment. Each bid must include a technical proposal of no more than 10 pages covering service organisation, call response, capture procedures, special situations, coordination and record-keeping. Evaluation awards up to 65 points for price, up to 3 points for making up to 20 microchip readers available to local authorities, and up to 32 points for the technical service organisation proposal.
