Modernisation of the lift control systems at Mutua Balear’s head office

Summary

The contract covers the complete modernisation of the control systems of three interconnected lifts at Mutua Balear’s head office in Palma. The work includes supplying and installing electronic control panels with variable-frequency drives, shaft electrical installations, and new in-car and landing control panels, as well as upgrading emergency lighting and alarms and the necessary safety and control devices. The contract also includes the required technical and administrative procedures, legalisation of the installation, handover of user and maintenance instructions, and delivery of removed materials to an authorised waste-management or recycling facility. The procurement is a single lot. The estimated value is €40,089 excluding taxes, with a maximum value of €48,507.69 including VAT. The work must be completed within 20 working days from its start and no later than 28 December 2026. Bids must be submitted electronically by 23:59 on 21 October 2026. Each bid must include a project-specific technical description, a work schedule, details of the personnel and equipment, a price offer, and the required forms and evidence. A site visit is strongly recommended to inform the technical proposal, but is not a condition for submitting a bid. Bidders must demonstrate the required financial and technical capacity and provide ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certificates. Technicians responsible for the work must be qualified as lift maintenance technicians. Bids will be assessed using automatic criteria: price is worth up to 65 points, a shorter completion time up to 20 points, an extension of the warranty beyond three years up to 10 points, and the use of environmentally labelled vehicles up to 5 points. The successful bidder must provide a final guarantee equal to 5% of the final bid price excluding taxes.
