HORECA Demand Development and Commercial Connections with Mercabarna Businesses

Summary

Mercabarna is procuring a one-year service in 2027 to develop qualified demand and connect commercial foodservice operators with businesses at its food distribution centre. The single, undivided contract covers three restaurant-sector tours focused on fish and seafood, fruit and vegetables, and meat; technical accompaniment and benchmarking at four HORECA trade fairs—Sirha Lyon, HIP Madrid, Horeca Ibiza and Gastronomika San Sebastián; and one commercial visit to a central kitchen operated by a commercial restaurant business. The work also includes documenting contacts and market findings and preparing an annual comparative report and recommendations for 2028. The budget is €35,000 excluding VAT.
