Technical assistance to implement the regenerative tourism programme in L’Escala
Summary
The contract is for specialist technical assistance to implement the Regenera4MED regenerative tourism programme in the L’Escala pilot area. The work must turn three local regenerative tourism concepts into experiences ready for implementation and sale, develop stories and promotional materials for them, organise a peer-review visit in L’Escala, and take part in two visits to pilot areas in Croatia and Corsica. It also includes administering and analysing the regenerative tourism self-assessment tool and preparing reports. The work involves collaboration with the local group, four workshops to develop the experiences and four workshops to shape their stories. Deliverables include experience descriptions, summary canvases and a marketing plan; a storytelling package and activation plan with digital and visual materials; visit reports; and analysis of the tool’s data. Reports and materials are generally required in Catalan and English. The two external visits are scheduled for Croatia in November–December 2026 and Corsica in May–June 2027; travel, accommodation and subsistence costs for these visits are included in the budget. The estimated contract value is €45,068.79 excluding VAT, and the budget ceiling is €54,533.23 including VAT. The contract runs from signature until 31 December 2027 or completion of the work, whichever comes first; no extension is planned. Price is worth up to 30 points, additional team experience up to 40 points, and the technical proposal up to 30 points. The successful bidder must provide a final guarantee of 5% of the final contract price excluding VAT. The European Union co-finances 80% of the contract.
