Construction management and safety coordination for reconstruction of DANA damage in the Picassent ravine

Summary

The contract covers construction management, works execution management, and health and safety coordination for the reconstruction of DANA damage in the Font de l’Omet area of the Picassent ravine. The reconstruction includes repairing damaged bank protection and walls, restoring affected public utilities, and stabilising slopes eroded by the flooding. The service budget is €413,268.80 excluding VAT and €500,055.25 including VAT. The tenderer must provide a team of separately assigned specialists with the required qualifications, including a works director, a works execution director and quality-control lead, a works inspector, a topographer, a health and safety coordinator, and a geotechnical assistant. Qualifications and relevant experience from the last five years must be evidenced by certificates of satisfactory performance. Professional indemnity insurance of at least €500,000, or a binding commitment to obtain it, is also required. Bids are assessed on factors including price, the technical proposal for cost and schedule control, team experience, and additional site visits. Relevant experience of the geotechnical assistant may earn up to 8 award points.
