Supply and installation of intercom systems at Renfe sales points

Summary

Renfe Viajeros is procuring intercom systems for its ticket offices and customer-service points in two lots. Lot 1 covers the supply and installation of 140 window intercoms in the Barcelona Rodalies area, with associated fixed induction-loop amplifiers where installation conditions permit; the price schedule also includes 15 portable induction loops. Lot 2 covers 42 window intercoms for Madrid Cercanías and portable T-coil induction loops: the technical specification narrative states 51 devices, while the price schedule totals 55, including 4 spares. The work includes removing existing equipment where applicable, supplying new units, cabling and cable containment, connection, configuration, calibration, operational testing, proper waste handling and staff training. Cables must be concealed and inaccessible to users. Equipment must be delivered within four months of each order, with installation and commissioning completed within a further two months. Equipment and installation must be covered by a warranty of at least three years. The contract is planned to run from 1 February to 31 July 2027. It is a needs-based open contract: Renfe will place orders at the awarded unit prices and does not guarantee a minimum order volume or expenditure. The maximum budgets, excluding VAT, are €84,946 for Lot 1 and €29,767.20 for Lot 2. Bids above the relevant lot ceiling will be rejected. Price accounts for 80% of the award score and technical quality for 20%; a technical score of at least 10 out of 20 is required to pass. Bidders must demonstrate financial and technical capacity, provide the manufacturer’s commitment and required conformity documents, and commit to supplying sufficient personnel and resources.
