Abrasive blasting and hot-dip galvanizing of parts made at the Central Workshop, 2027–2029

Summary

The tender concerns abrasive blasting and hot-dip galvanizing of steel fabrication parts made for repairs to the Mancomunidad de los Canales del Taibilla water-supply network during 2027–2029. The parts must be blast-cleaned to surface preparation grade SA 2½ and then hot-dip galvanized to protect them against corrosion. The technical specification estimates 21,500 kg for each treatment, while the budget schedule states 20,500 kg for each; bidders should verify the quantities in the tender documents. The work is performed at the contractor’s premises. The contracting authority transports the parts between its Central Workshop and the contractor’s facilities; the contractor is responsible for unloading, internal handling and reloading. The ordinary delivery limit is 168 hours, and bidders may offer a reduction of up to 72 hours. For an urgent incident, the contractor must arrive at the authority’s site within 4 hours of notification and ensure resolution within 24 hours. The procurement has one lot and variants are not permitted. The contract runs for 24 months, with an option to extend it by up to a further 24 months. The estimated value is €66,110.45 excluding VAT and the budget including VAT is €79,993.64. Bids are scored on price (up to 80 points) and reduction of the ordinary delivery time (up to 20 points). Participation requires the specified financial and experience capacity, quality-management evidence and a current hot-dip galvanizing certificate to UNE-EN ISO 1461:2023.
