Cleaning services for the Basque Culinary Center buildings

Summary

The tender covers regular and on-demand cleaning of the indoor and outdoor areas of the Basque Culinary Center BCC building and the GOe building in San Sebastián. The BCC building has a floor area of 11,167 m² and the GOe building 9,000 m². The work also includes cleaning crockery, machinery and equipment used in the buildings and returning items to their designated room or storage area when needed, removing waste, and cleaning waste containers and the areas around them. Inaccessible or high-level windows must be cleaned at least twice a year; the frequency for other glazing is set out in the tender documents. The detailed work plan and frequencies will be adjusted to the buildings’ actual use. The contractor must provide the staff, cleaning machinery, protective equipment and a Centre Manager with a substitute needed for the service; the contracting entities will provide cleaning products, hand tools and utensils. The offer must describe the personnel and material resources to be used and the proposed work arrangements. The price offer must state hourly rates for daytime cleaning and nighttime or public-holiday cleaning, as well as a per-service price for cleaning inaccessible windows at GOe. Bidders may also offer, at no extra charge, cleaning the exterior windows of the BCC building and pest control, disinfection and insect control at both buildings. Offers are assessed on the basis of the best price-quality ratio. Participation requires the prescribed declarations and evidence of legal capacity, financial and technical capacity, and compliance with tax and social-security obligations. The Centre Manager must have at least 3 years’ experience coordinating teams, have completed EGB, ESO or equivalent education, and have basic office software skills.
