Digitisation of personnel files – scanning service

Summary

Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron DESY is procuring the digitisation of 3,500 active personnel files, comprising an estimated 875,000 pages. The service covers collection in Hamburg, preparation, scanning, OCR, document separation and indexing, quality checks, and secure digital delivery for transfer to DESY’s document-management and HR systems. The files will be processed in up to 25 batches; 1,300 paper files are to be returned and 2,200 destroyed after approval, with special-format documents also included in the planned scope.
