Dynamic Purchasing System for Remote Solar Power Plants for the Kaunas District Energy Community

Summary

The Kaunas District Municipality Administration is establishing a dynamic purchasing system for the Kaunas District energy community to acquire remote solar power plants together with the land on which they are located. The purchase covers a complete, indivisible plant, including solar modules, inverters, support structures, cables and the equipment and infrastructure needed to generate and deliver electricity to the grid. Quantities and technical details will be set in individual invitations; procurements may be divided into lots, and plants generating and exporting less than 2 million kWh per year will not be purchased. Maintenance and servicing may also be required under the terms of a specific procurement.
