PSA Sample Collection and Testing Services

Summary

Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy is procuring PSA blood-sample collection and laboratory testing services for a prostate cancer screening pilot. The services include collection kits, blood sampling, collection from medical practices, transport to the laboratory, PSA analysis, delivery of results in written and electronic formats, and structured electronic reporting to the ReS.PRO screening registry. The 36-month framework agreement will cover an estimated 3,600 to 29,097 laboratory test sets, with a maximum of two suppliers and up to six subsequent contracts; each subsequent contract will cover 600 to 10,000 sets.
