Dynamic purchasing system for whole-tree felling for wood chips and extraction
Summary
The Danish Nature Agency is establishing a dynamic purchasing system for mechanised felling of young coniferous and broadleaf trees for wood chips, and for extracting felled timber. The four categories cover felling and bunching, rough delimbing, shear felling, and extraction, with work across Denmark; individual contracts will cover either Jutland and Funen or Zealand and the islands. The system is planned to run from 6 November 2026 to 31 October 2036, with an estimated value of DKK 359.3 million and a maximum value of DKK 538.95 million.
