Modernization of the DJ 595D road between Moșnița Veche and Giroc

Summary

The procurement covers modernization of a 12.09 km section of the DJ 595D county road between Moșnița Veche and Giroc in Timiș County, including a new connection to the Timișoara bypass. The works include the road, 10 roundabouts, cycle paths and footways, junctions with side roads, bus stops, parking areas, stormwater drainage, culverts and road-safety features. The railway level crossing will also be upgraded, roundabouts illuminated, gas pipelines replaced and protected, and underground telecommunications infrastructure installed. The works must be completed within 36 months from the instruction to commence. The estimated value is RON 119,041,724 excluding VAT; it excludes a contingency reserve estimated at 10% of the total value. The bidder must submit an electronically signed bid with the ESPD and technical and financial proposals, together with consortium or subcontracting documents where applicable. No tender guarantee is required, and the bid must remain valid for six months. Qualification requires up to three similar roadworks contracts completed within the previous five years, with a combined value of at least RON 119,000,000 excluding VAT, and evidence of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 systems or equivalent. The project manager must have experience on at least two similar contracts and the site manager on at least one. Bids are evaluated on price, managers’ experience, works warranty and compliant lower-emission machinery; the minimum required warranty is 36 months.
