Construction of a 110 kV underground cable line between the Medgidia Nord and Medgidia Sud substations
Summary
The contract covers construction of a new 110 kV underground cable line between the Medgidia Nord 110/6 kV substation and the Medgidia Sud 400/110 kV substation. The approximately 8.4 km line, with a capacity of 800 A, will reinforce the electricity network in the Dobrogea region. The works also include building a 110 kV bay at Medgidia Nord and connecting the line at both ends with control, monitoring and protection equipment. Works will take place in Medgidia, including within the substation site. The estimated contract value is RON 52,025,864.98 and the contract duration is 8 months. The bidder must provide a RON 260,129 tender guarantee valid for 150 days, and the tender itself must remain valid for 150 days. The successful bidder must provide a performance guarantee equal to 10% of the contract value excluding VAT. Selection requirements include an ANRE E2 or equivalent authorisation, evidence of quality and environmental management, average annual turnover of at least RON 26,012,932.49 for 2023–2025, and relevant 110 kV cable-line or substation works worth at least RON 35,000,000 in total during the previous five years. Each relevant participating entity must submit a separate ESPD. Tenders are evaluated mainly on price (90 points), with additional points available for ISO 14064 certification and an extended works warranty.
