Construction of a New Drinking-Water Well in the La Riera Area
Summary
The contract covers the construction of a new drinking-water well in the La Riera area of Sant Pere de Torelló. The works include deep drilling, testing and completing the well, together with the associated hydraulic works specified in the project. The base design provides for a 200-metre borehole. If water is not reached at that depth, drilling may continue for the additional metres offered by the bidder. The second phase depends on finding drinking water in sufficient quantity and quality; if no water is found or it is unsuitable for consumption, the second phase will not proceed and payment will be limited to the work performed. The works must be completed within two months of contract signature. The estimated contract value is €150,567.51 excluding VAT, and the maximum tender price is €182,186.68 including VAT. Price is worth up to 60 points, and additional drilling beyond 200 metres is worth up to 40 points, at 0.5 points per metre. Subcontracting the drilling is prohibited. To participate, a bidder must be registered in the RELI or ROLECE register, or prove that it applied for registration before the tender deadline. The requirements also include relevant annual turnover of at least €300,000, experience with similar works during the last five years, and sufficient equipment and other resources. The successful bidder must provide evidence of liability insurance of at least €300,000 and provide a final guarantee. The tender must include the required declarations, and the bidder must confirm that no exclusion grounds apply and that it meets the requirements.
