Development of water and wastewater infrastructure in Mureș County – Lots 1–3

Summary

The procurement covers three lots for developing water and wastewater infrastructure in Mureș County. For each lot, the contractor must design and build water supply facilities, treatment and pumping equipment, transmission and distribution networks, and the necessary electrical, automation and SCADA systems. The works also include supplying and installing equipment, testing, commissioning and remedying defects. The lots cover water facilities and pipelines in different areas, including reservoirs, pumping stations, network connections and fire hydrants. Design, construction and commissioning are scheduled for 22 months: 6 months for design, 15 months for construction and 1 month for testing and commissioning. The defects notification period is at least 36 months. Tenders must be submitted electronically by 11 November 2026 at 15:00. As a general rule, no more than one lot may be awarded to a tenderer. Evaluation assigns 40% to price, 20% to key personnel experience, 10% to pump energy efficiency, 15% to the design and construction integration methodology, and 15% to network performance, operation, maintenance and as-built documentation. Participation requires the specified guarantee and evidence of registration, turnover, comparable works experience and management-system compliance.
