Computed tomography scanner
Summary
The procurement is for one computed tomography scanner suitable for whole-body examinations for Kelmė Hospital. The successful supplier must deliver, install and commission the scanner at the site in Kelmė, and dismantle, remove and properly dispose of the existing scanner. The work also includes preparing and reviewing the radiation-safety project, carrying out acceptance tests and providing test reports, and training staff; all associated costs must be included in the tender price. The budget ceiling is EUR 413,223.14 excluding VAT. Delivery is due within three months of the contract taking effect, and the total contract term must not exceed five months, including any permitted delivery extension. Payment is due within 30 calendar days after receipt of a compliant invoice. The scanner must meet the technical specification, including at least 128 slices per rotation, at least 64 detector rows, detector width of at least 38 mm, an aperture of at least 700 mm, table capacity of at least 220 kg and a rotation time of no more than 0.5 seconds. Required features include dose-reduction and metal-artifact-reduction reconstruction algorithms, automatic patient positioning and remote monitoring. The award is based on the price-quality ratio. Four equally weighted quality factors are an aperture of at least 800 mm, patient table height of no more than 430 mm, spatial resolution of at least 11 lp/cm at 50% MTF, and a warranty of at least 36 months. The minimum warranty period is 24 months. The tenderer must provide technical evidence and the required declarations, and demonstrate its manufacturer-representation status and authorisation to install and service the equipment under warranty.
