Renewal of pedestrian crossings

Summary

The procurement covers routine repair, installation and reconfiguration of pedestrian crossings on roads of national importance. It is divided into two lots: crossings outside cultural heritage areas and crossings within such areas. Depending on the order, the work includes preparing or revising a repair description, arranging approvals, carrying out construction, and submitting as-built documentation and a declaration of completion. Works may include road-surface and footway repairs, traffic arrangements, lighting, traffic signals, safety islands and accessibility measures. Quantities are provisional and payment is based on fixed unit rates for work actually performed; the contract ceiling is EUR 14,400,000 including VAT for Lot I and EUR 3,600,000 including VAT for Lot II. The overall contract term is 36 months, with 10 months allowed to complete each individual order. Price is the sole award criterion. Tenders must be submitted electronically in Lithuanian with the signed offer form, European Single Procurement Document, national security compliance declaration and relevant price schedules. Tenderers must account for the qualification and environmental management requirements and the costs of obtaining necessary approvals. No tender guarantee is required. The successful tenderer must provide contract performance security of at least 5% of the contract price excluding VAT.
