Design and construction of household wastewater treatment plants in the City and Municipality of Sanniki

Summary

The tender covers the design and construction of 51 household biological wastewater treatment plants in the City and Municipality of Sanniki. The plants must use rotating biological contactor technology and comply with standard PN-EN 12566-3+A2:2013 or an equivalent standard. The contractor will survey the sites, prepare designs for each installation, obtain required approvals and permits, supply and install the equipment and connections, commission the plants, prepare as-built documentation and train users. The overall design and construction period is 12 months; the designs and required approvals are due within 8 months. During the first 4 months from the start of design work, the contracting authority may change locations and reduce the number of plants by up to 12, to a minimum of 39. The bidder must hold liability insurance of at least PLN 1,000,000 and must have completed, within the previous 5 years, at least one project involving the construction, or design and construction, of at least 30 household biological wastewater treatment plants. Evidence must also demonstrate that the proposed treatment technology meets the standard and has operated in comparable conditions. Price accounts for 60% of the evaluation and the warranty and defect-liability period for 40%; the minimum period is 60 months. The contract is not divided into lots, no bid security is required, and performance security is 5% of the gross bid price.
