Daily patient catering with lease of kitchen and buffet premises

Summary

The tender covers daily catering for patients at the hospital in Augustów, together with leasing the hospital kitchen and buffet premises. The contractor will prepare, cook and deliver meals to hospital wards, including individual and special diets prescribed in light of patients’ health, and collect and manage food waste. The service must run seven days a week, including public holidays, for 12 months from 1 December 2026. The price schedule estimates 34,000 breakfasts, 34,000 lunches and 34,000 dinners. The hospital guarantees purchase of at least 60% of the order and may adjust patient numbers by up to ±30%. The contractor must equip the kitchen and buffet at its own expense and bear the costs of purchasing, installing and maintaining equipment. Kitchen premises rent is PLN 10,500 per month, plus operating and utility charges. The buffet must open for at least six hours on weekdays, and catering for external clients is not permitted. A qualified dietitian must prepare menus covering at least ten days. The menus must be sent electronically by 7:00 every Monday and state the meal composition, nutritional and energy values, preparation method and allergens. The interval between meals must not exceed 12 hours, and meals must reach the wards at the required temperatures and under hygienic conditions. At least once a year, an accredited laboratory must check that the nutritional values of a selected daily menu match the declared values. Bids are evaluated on price (60 points) and invoice payment term (40 points); a 30-day payment term receives the maximum score. The bid submission deadline is 13 October 2026 at 10:00.
