Autonomous Transport Field Labs – Phase 2

Summary

robotTUNER BV is procuring autonomous bus transport services in Groningen under a single lot. The work includes a prototype DATA LOOP connecting Autoware with a bus driving simulator, development and assessment of autonomous driving and shadow-driving methods, support for RDW certification and testing, and demonstrations and reporting. A retrofitted 12-metre bus with autopilot technology is to be made available for experiments from 1 March to 31 December 2027; the contract is scheduled to run from 4 February 2027 to 31 January 2028, with a possible extension of up to 12 months.
