Collection and processing of waste paper and cardboard

Summary

The Municipality of Zoetermeer is procuring the collection, transport and processing of waste paper and cardboard. Collection covers underground neighbourhood containers, wheeled containers at churches, schools and associations, and a compactor container at the self-delivery depot. The 2025 volume was 3,796 tonnes; the maximum contract volume, including extensions, is 25,000 tonnes, but the municipality guarantees no minimum quantity. A framework agreement with one contractor will run for two years, with two possible one-year extensions.
