Mowing and ditch maintenance in Alkmaar, 2027–2032 (Lots 1 and 2)
Summary
The contract covers mowing public green areas, collecting cut vegetation, and maintaining ditches, waterways and banks in the municipality of Alkmaar in two lots during 2027–2032. Lot 1 covers urban districts and parks; work includes mowing and clearing flower-rich grass, rough and wet vegetation, ditches and nature-friendly banks. Lot 2 covers rural areas and village centres and also includes rough grass and visibility areas. Indicative quantities are 921,700 m² of flower-rich grassland, 299,400 m² of ditches, banks and wet profiles, and 798,700 m² of park and ecological-zone clearance for Lot 1; Lot 2 covers 908,500 m² of flower-rich grassland and 121,300 m of ditches, banks and wet profiles. Exact quantities and frequencies are set out in the specifications for each lot. Each contract starts on 1 January 2027 for two years, with two possible two-year extensions, for a maximum term of six years. Bidders may tender for one or both lots; price is the sole award criterion for each lot. The contractor must allocate 5% of invoiced turnover to social-return measures. Bids must be submitted electronically by 19 November 2026 at 12:00. Participation requires the specified ESPD, ISO 9001 and VCA** certificates, and references and client satisfaction statements for the relevant lot.
