Framework agreement for building works for the phased replacement of standard lifts and escalators

GVB Infra B.V. is procuring a framework agreement for a building contractor to prepare and, if separately agreed, carry out building works associated with the phased replacement of standard lifts and escalators at Amsterdam metro stations and some tram stops. The existing network comprises 177 escalators and 93 lifts, with an estimated average replacement need of about seven escalators and four lifts per year. The agreement has an initial term of two years and may be extended six times by one year, for a maximum of eight years; the procurement is divided into one lot.
