Tender detail
Decision support for unintended pregnancy
Summary
This open-house procedure allows existing and new healthcare providers to offer decision-support services for unintended pregnancies and, optionally, psychosocial support after abortion. Providers offering only post-abortion psychosocial support are not eligible; that service may be offered only together with decision-support services. Decision support must be available within 48 hours of registration, excluding Dutch public holidays and weekends, and post-abortion psychosocial support within 10 working days, excluding Dutch public holidays. A decision-support trajectory allows up to 15 hours and a post-abortion psychosocial-support trajectory up to 14 hours. The provider must use qualified, Fiom-trained and Fiom-registered staff, meet the quality, reporting, privacy and client-satisfaction requirements, and submit the required evidence and declarations. The authority gives no guarantee regarding the volume of work; the notice estimates approximately 2,000 decision-support trajectories per year and 250–400 post-abortion psychosocial-support trajectories per year.
