Wind tunnel instrumentation and equipment

Summary

ENSTA Campus de Brest is procuring instrumentation and associated equipment for a closed-circuit aerodynamic wind tunnel used for experimental naval engineering. The four lots cover a multifunction data-acquisition system; an electric propeller-drive motor and speed controller; a six-component force balance and dynamic torque meter with measurement chains; and a complete hexapod system with electrical cabinet, control computer and motion-control software. An optional Lot 1 extension would provide 80 analogue inputs sampled at 1 kHz per channel. The estimated total value is €60,000–€140,000.
