Modernisation of the BANCO test rig

Summary

The ASNR is procuring the design and implementation of modifications to the BANCO test rig so it can study combustion aerosols and their interaction with purification filters. The work includes upgrades to the filtration and extraction air paths, reconstruction of the combustion chamber walls with viewing windows, replacement of defective sensors, and development of control and data-acquisition software, followed by delivery, installation, commissioning and training. The procurement is a single-lot, single-supplier composite framework agreement with no minimum order value and a maximum value of EUR 50,000 excluding VAT; its initial term is 30 months, with one possible 18-month extension.
