Mammography services with radiology reports

Summary

Mammography examinations with radiology reports are being procured for the needs of the Lapland wellbeing services county and Työterveys Lappica Oy in two lots: Rovaniemi and Kemijärvi. Bidders may submit an offer for one or both lots, and one service provider will be selected for each lot. In Rovaniemi, the provider will deliver the service at its own premises using its own equipment and staff. In Kemijärvi, examinations will take place at the customer’s premises using the customer’s equipment. Where needed, the service also includes ultrasound examinations, fine- and core-needle biopsies, breast clip marking, and comparison with previous images. The customer is responsible for pathological examination of tissue and cell samples. For the Kemijärvi lot, the doctors providing the service will work under the customer’s direction and responsibility, while the provider will fulfil the employer’s obligations. Estimated examination volumes are not guaranteed: the customer will order services as needed and undertakes no fixed purchase volume. The planned start dates are 1 December 2026 in Rovaniemi and 1 February 2027 in Kemijärvi. Check the official tender documents for the exact service and participation requirements.
