Electrical Design Framework Agreement

Summary

The tender concerns electrical design services for minor renovations and alterations to university buildings within the University of Helsinki group, under a framework agreement. The group includes the University of Helsinki, its funds and property companies, and their owned property and subsidiary companies. In this restricted procedure, 5–10 companies will be selected from the requests to participate to submit tenders, and a framework agreement will be concluded with 3–8 providers after tender evaluation. Orders below the national threshold will be placed at the contracting authority’s discretion, taking into account the project’s characteristics and the framework partners’ specialist expertise and experience. Orders above the threshold will be awarded through a project-specific mini-competition among the framework partners. If the threshold changes during the agreement or any extension period, the national threshold then in force will apply. The deadline for requests to participate is 21 October 2026.
