Tender detail
Radiotherapy dosimetry equipment
Summary
The procurement is for two new dosimetry systems for radiotherapy quality assurance and patient measurements at the radiotherapy unit of Sairaala Nova, operated by the Central Finland Wellbeing Services County. The first is a water phantom for linear accelerator quality control, including measurements of photon and electron depth-dose curves, radiation-field profiles and absolute dose. The system must include the equipment, software and licences needed for operation and analysis, and must work with the hospital’s existing ionisation chambers and diodes or include replacement detectors. The water phantom may be supplied with or without a water reservoir. The second system is a matrix measuring device with a phantom for stereotactic SRT/SBRT patient measurements. It must allow measured results to be compared with patient-specific dose plans calculated by the treatment planning system, with visual and quantitative evaluation, including gamma analysis. It may also be used for linear accelerator quality control. The total price for both systems must not exceed EUR 150,000 excluding VAT. Both systems must be new, and the supply must include installation ready for use and user training. The contracting authority will select one supplier. Offers may include options priced to remain valid during 2026–2027; the estimated value of options for 2027 is EUR 50,000, but the authority is not committed to purchasing them. The supplier may state a trade-in credit for the existing PTW MP3 water phantom, which is over 20 years old; this credit will not be included in the evaluated price. The deadline for submitting offers is 9 October 2026. Check the tender documents for any additional bidder qualification and compliance requirements.
