VETy – Virtual Hybrid Power Plant Learning Environment
Summary
This is a market research and technical dialogue notice for the preparation of a virtual learning environment procurement planned for 2027 for joint use by Koulutuskuntayhtymä OSAO and Oulu University of Applied Sciences. The learning environment must operate in virtual reality and through a 2D user interface, and visualise the green hydrogen production and downstream processing chain together with related energy, water, carbon dioxide, storage, logistics and end-use solutions. The planned topics include electrolysis, wind and solar parks, an electricity storage system, a substation, water treatment, carbon dioxide capture, methanation, ammonia synthesis, hydrogen and e-fuel logistics, and fuel-cell equipment. The market dialogue will take place on Teams on 30 September 2026 at 12:15; registration is required by 24 September 2026 at 11:00. Participation is not a prerequisite for taking part in the future procurement.
