Supply of cattle bedding material for Gayoso Castro Farm

Summary

The Provincial Council of Lugo is procuring cattle-bedding materials for the Gayoso Castro Farm in one undivided contract, with periodic deliveries over an initial two-year term and a possible two-year extension. The estimated annual supply comprises 325 tonnes of a mixture of 70% calcium carbonate, 25% pine sawdust and 5% rice husks for cattle cubicles; 30 tonnes of a mixture of 20% calcium carbonate and 80% sawdust for heifer pens; and approximately 25 litres of glycolic-acid-based or similar disinfectant suitable for livestock bedding. Transport, unloading and incorporation into the bedding or storage at the farm are included. The initial two-year budget is €66,520 excluding VAT (€73,172 including VAT).
