Bedding plants for Kuopio parish union cemeteries, 2027–2028

Summary

The procurement covers the cultivation and delivery of bedding plants to the cemeteries of the Kuopio parish union for the 2027 and 2028 summer seasons. The estimated quantity is about 36,000 plants per year; the contract also includes growing two 1.5-metre flower columns, including growing medium and flowers. Plants must be delivered to the buyer’s 18 cemeteries, mainly between 1 and 15 June, at agreed times; the usual deadline is 07:00 on Monday of the relevant cemetery’s delivery week. Bids may cover all three plant groups or individual groups: grave flowers, flowers for memorial cemeteries and property flowers. Awards are made by group, with price as the sole award criterion. Prices must be fixed, exclusive of VAT, and include all delivery costs. The bid must be submitted in Finnish with the signed price form and required evidence by 19 October 2026 at 12:00; it must remain valid until at least 31 December 2026. The supplier must meet the detailed plant-quality and delivery requirements and the statutory suitability conditions.
