Supply and planting of landscaping at Los Olivicos Park in Níjar

The Municipality of Níjar is procuring the supply and planting of shrubs and ground-cover plants across 7,608.50 m² of landscaped areas in Los Olivicos Park, Campohermoso. The work comprises five planting mixes: A1 over 3,266.23 m² at 4 plants/m² in 2.50-litre containers; A2 over 600 m² at 4 plants/m² in 1.50-litre containers; A3 over 1,332.48 m² at 7 plants/m² in 2.50-litre containers; A4 over 1,415.90 m² at 6 plants/m² in 2.50-litre containers; and A5 over 993.89 m² at 2 plants/m² with C30 root balls. Plants must suit the semi-arid, saline environment and come from authorised nurseries; they must have healthy root systems and meet the stated plant-quality standards or equivalent standards. The work also includes setting out, digging planting holes, planting and watering, initial care, and replacing failed plants. The planting works must be completed within 3 months. The tender documents provide for a 12-month maintenance and warranty obligation starting on acceptance; the warranty includes replacement of plants with germination or rooting defects, but excludes losses caused by the municipality’s failure to provide ordinary watering or care. The contractor must remove waste after the works and provide evidence of its proper handling. Reusable, biodegradable or single-use-plastic-free packaging must be used to transport the vegetation. The estimated contract value is €165,289.25 excluding VAT, and the budget ceiling is €199,999.99 including VAT. Price is worth up to 80 points; extending the planting warranty by 6 months earns 5 points and by 12 months earns 10 points; a commitment to sign the work commencement record one week after signing the contract earns 10 points. The contract is not divided into lots, and variants are not permitted.
