Support services for students with disabilities and other special needs in Canary Islands public schools

Summary

The Canary Islands Department of Education is procuring support services for students with disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, severe behavioural disorders and special health conditions in public educational establishments, to support their inclusion in mainstream education. The two lots cover Santa Cruz de Tenerife province and Las Palmas province respectively, with services delivered across the islands in each province. Services include care workers, nursing assistants, nurses, physiotherapists, Spanish Sign Language specialists and interpreters. The contract is planned for three years from 1 January 2027, with extensions possible up to a maximum total duration of five years; the total budget is €79,818,334.74.
