Improving biodiversity and connectivity in Parla’s green infrastructure: the Sistema Solar–Saturno urban green corridor

Summary

The Municipality of Parla is procuring works to create a 4 km urban green corridor covering approximately 133,000 m², linking parks and ecological restoration areas across the city. The works include restoring urban ecosystems by planting currently unlandscaped areas and increasing tree cover, together with irrigation, street furniture and sustainable drainage infrastructure. The contract is not divided into lots, is expected to take eight months and is co-financed 40% by the European Regional Development Fund.
