Demolition of the existing shelter and construction of a new industrial building for the profile-straightening machine

Summary

The procurement covers demolition of the existing shelter for the profile-straightening machine and construction of a new industrial building at the Navantia Puerto Real shipyard. The new building must be approximately 11 × 11 m, with at least 4.50 m of internal clear height. The works include a steel frame, insulated walls and roof, a removable or opening roof section for lifting out the machine, rainwater drainage, and relocation of existing electrical panels. Four industrial sockets with at least IP55 protection and LED lighting with at least IP65 protection must be installed. The contractor must prepare and justify the execution design, inspect the existing concrete slab, and provide any necessary strengthening or new foundations. The minimum thickness is 60 mm for façade sandwich panels and 80 mm for roof panels. The exterior must have corrosion resistance of at least RC5 under UNE-EN 10169 or demonstrate equivalent performance. The work also includes sorting and transferring demolition waste to an authorised waste operator, electrical works, testing, and final documentation. The maximum execution period is 12 weeks from the effective date of the contract or order. A site visit is strongly recommended but is not mandatory.
