Road resurfacing in Agro do Muiño and elsewhere (Ortoño)

Summary

The tender covers the repair and resurfacing of roads in the Agro do Muiño area and on the Ortoniño–As Cortes road in Ames. In the western part of Agro do Muiño, a 3 cm SMA asphalt wearing course will generally be laid; where needed, this will be preceded by a 5 cm levelling layer and milling. Tras do Muiño street will receive a 5 cm hot-mix asphalt layer after milling. On the road along the eastern edge of the development, the works include surface treatment and sealing, as well as pothole and edge repairs. Road markings and signs will be renewed throughout the development. Along the 500 m long, 3.8 m wide Ortoniño–As Cortes road, including 30 m² of junctions and widened sections, the works include a 5 cm asphalt layer, pavement repairs, road markings, two STOP signs, and cleaning road edges and ditches to ensure drainage. The works must be completed within six months. The estimated price is €190,075.24 excluding VAT; including 21% VAT, the total tender budget is €229,991.04. Price is the sole award criterion. Bids must be submitted electronically. Bidders must be entered in the relevant official bidders’ register or provide proof of an application submitted before the deadline together with the required declaration. Bidders must demonstrate the required financial and technical capacity and undertake to provide the specified workers and machinery. The successful bidder must provide a final guarantee of 5% and choose at least one of the social or employment measures specified in the tender documents for contract performance.
