Supply and installation of a dynamic mechanical analyser

Summary

The tender covers the supply, delivery and installation of a dynamic mechanical analyser for the Materials Science and Engineering Laboratory at the Institute for Regional Development, University of Castilla-La Mancha, on its Albacete campus. The equipment will be used to study the viscoelastic and thermomechanical properties of polymers, elastomers, composites and related materials as temperature, frequency and time vary. The supply must include the required test fixtures, gas and liquid-nitrogen cooling systems, control and analysis software, and a compatible computer. The supplier must install and commission the equipment and provide at least two days of on-site training for 1–3 laboratory staff. The analyser must support, among other methods, tensile, bending, compression, shear and liquid-immersion tests. Delivery, installation and commissioning must be completed within 12 weeks, and the equipment, accessories and software must carry a warranty of at least 36 months. Bidders must demonstrate the required financial and technical capacity and submit a technical offer showing that the equipment complies with the specifications. Turnover in at least one of the three most recent financial years must be at least €92,000; bidders must also list similar supplies completed during the last three years. The bid must not exceed €111,320 including VAT, and the successful bidder must provide a final guarantee equal to 5% of the offered price excluding VAT. Price carries 88 points and technical quality 12 points. The procurement is not divided into lots and is 85% co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund.
