Renewal of the artificial turf and improvements to the La Cala del Moral football pitch

Summary

The contract covers renewal of the worn artificial turf and its base at the La Cala del Moral football pitch, together with supplementary improvements and repairs to the facility's equipment and infrastructure. The works are intended to improve safety, sporting performance and user experience. The expected completion period is one and a half months, and the tender budget is €221,000 including VAT. The contract is not divided into lots. Bidders must demonstrate the required turnover and relevant artificial-turf installation experience from the previous three years, and provide a site manager and an installation supervisor, each with experience on at least five such projects. The contractor must carry out the main turf-installation operations itself. The proposed turf system must meet FIFA Quality and FIFA Quality PRO requirements and have at least 9,450 stitches per square metre, with a stitch-row gauge of no more than 10 mm. Compliance must be substantiated with technical documentation and laboratory evidence. Bids are assessed using objective criteria worth 75 points and qualitative criteria worth 25 points; price is not an award criterion and the financial offer is fixed. Points are available for extending the warranty, shortening the works period and offering additional improvements: football goals and corner flags, replacement of the fence mesh beside Arroyo Totalán, artificial turf beside the gym, replacement of stand and dugout seats, a boot-cleaning grate and system, and deep mechanical turf decompaction. The qualitative assessment covers the proposed works methodology, a free quality-control programme and free after-sales turf maintenance.
