Guarding and security services and other ancillary services

Summary

The tender concerns guarding, security and reception and other ancillary services for the buildings and premises of Sociedad Estatal Loterías y Apuestas del Estado (SELAE). Security coverage is required at four locations in Madrid and the Arganda del Rey area, and, when ordered, for lottery draws, exhibitions, congresses and other events anywhere in Spain. Security staff will perform armed guarding, access control, patrols and security-system monitoring; a service assistant will provide reception and other support services at the main building. Some posts are planned to operate around the clock throughout the year, and the contracting authority may change staffing levels and schedules. Bidders must provide suitably qualified security staff and a security coordinator, cover staff absences, arrange the required training, and supply the equipment and operating procedures set out in the tender documents.
