Redevelopment works on Andrés Torrejón and Antonio Flores Streets
Summary
The tender covers renewal works on Andrés Torrejón and Antonio Flores Streets in central Elche, as well as the left-hand pavement of Luis Gonzaga Llorente Street. The works will renew pavements, kerbs and carriageway surfaces, improve accessibility, widen pavements by half a metre and create extensions at pedestrian crossings. They also include civil works for underground telecommunications crossings and relocating stormwater inlets so they are outside pedestrian-crossing paths. The works must be completed within three months from formalisation of the setting-out inspection record. The estimated value is €144,086.69 excluding VAT and the maximum budget is €174,344.89 including VAT. The contract is not divided into lots. Bidders must demonstrate the required financial and technical capacity, be registered in the official bidders register or have submitted a compliant registration application in time, and confirm that they are not prohibited from contracting. Bids must be submitted electronically in two parts. The technical memorandum is limited to eight A4 pages and must address the existing situation and potential project impacts, proposed solutions and traffic arrangements, the work schedule, and the technical quality of the proposal. At least 15 of the 30 qualitative points are required to continue. Price is worth up to 70 points and an extended warranty up to 10 points; the mandatory one-year warranty may be extended by up to four years. During performance, electronic documentation is preferred; any paper used must be recycled paper containing at least 85% reused fibres and bleached entirely without chlorine, or ecological paper.
