Early intervention service for the municipalities of Baleira, Castroverde and O Corgo

Summary

The tender covers the provision of an early intervention service for children aged 0–6 and their families in the association of the municipalities of Baleira, Castroverde and O Corgo. The service includes developmental assessment and diagnosis; support for psychomotor, cognitive, language, communication, independence, social and emotional development; and guidance for families. The work also involves assessing cases, preparing, delivering and monitoring individual intervention plans, supporting families, and coordinating with social, education and healthcare services. The contract is planned to run from 1 November 2026 to 31 October 2028, subject to the grant being awarded. The provider must be registered in the Single Register of Social Service Providers and supply a three-person team comprising a pedagogue, physiotherapist and speech therapist. Each specialist must have expertise in child development or early intervention, or demonstrate at least two years of relevant professional experience working with children aged 0–6. A technical service development project must be submitted as part of the tender. Suitable premises, equipment, therapy and assessment resources, and other necessary materials are also required. The service must remain open throughout the year for at least 35 hours per week; the specified annual net working time is 1,720 hours per professional. The award criteria are price and additional service hours offered by a psychologist and a social educator, up to 100 hours in total.
