Window installation to improve energy efficiency at the Muro Health Centre

Summary

The contract covers the complete removal of 28 existing windows and window doors and the installation of replacements at the Muro Health Centre (CS Muro de Alcoi), on the second and ground floors, to improve energy efficiency. The work includes preparing the openings, removing and properly disposing of waste, sealing, restoring affected finishes and cleaning the work areas. The health centre must remain operational, and disruption must be kept to a minimum. The new windows must have silver-coloured aluminium frames with thermal breaks and low-emissivity solar-control glazing. The required performance is air permeability class 4, water tightness class E900 and wind resistance class C5; thermal transmittance values are Ug 1.6 W/(m²·K) for the glass, Uf 2.46 W/(m²·K) for the frame and Uw 2.26 W/(m²·K) for the window, with acoustic insulation of 46 (-2, -5) dB. The total contract budget is EUR 54,822.04 including VAT. The contractor must provide technical manuals and installation certificates for the installed windows and is responsible for workplace safety and waste management.
