Urgent repair and design project for the Ampuero music pavilion

Summary

The contract combines preparation of a design project and urgent repair works for the music pavilion in Plaza Mayor, Ampuero. The pavilion’s floor structure and central support column are to be replaced, the plinth corners structurally reinforced, and damaged water pipes and local masonry defects repaired. Alternative solutions of equivalent effectiveness are permitted. The contractor must first inspect the site and prepare a technical project covering, among other things, the rationale for the proposed solution, compliance with applicable requirements, drawings, health and safety documentation, measurements, a cost estimate and technical specifications. The project is due within one month of contract signature, and construction must be completed within two months after the project is approved. Construction supervision is not included; the municipality will appoint an independent site supervisor. The bid must include a technical proposal of no more than 20 pages, signed by the proposed competent project author, and a financial offer in the required format.
