Supply of 12,675 Interactive Preventive Wheels for Wildfire Risk Assessment

Summary

The contract is for 12,675 interactive “Preventive Wheel” tools to help homeowners in areas where settlements meet forests assess wildfire risk and to support educational, prevention and awareness activities. The supplier must make the technical adaptations needed for production, provide a pre-production sample for inspection and, after approval, print, die-cut, assemble, package and deliver the wheels. Each item is approximately 23 × 15 cm and weighs about 25 g; it must have a rotating inner disc that works on both sides and be made from durable materials. The minimum print resolution is 300 DPI. Each unit must be placed in an individual envelope and then packed in recycled-cardboard boxes weighing no more than 15 kg each. All units must be delivered to the Directorate General of Emergencies in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Gran Canaria; the contracting authority will arrange onward distribution to the other islands. The maximum completion and delivery period is 60 calendar days from the date specified at contract formalisation, including sample approval. The budget ceiling is EUR 45,000 including 7% IGIC (EUR 42,056.07 excluding tax). Of the 100 award points, price accounts for up to 50, technical enhancements up to 30 and a shorter delivery period up to 20. Payment is made once, after the complete delivery has been accepted. A minimum 24-month warranty applies, during which units with printing, material or functional defects must be replaced at no additional cost.
